Khvamli, Mystic  Mountain 

The trail is approximately 7-9 kilometers (4.5-5.5 miles) round trip, with a moderate level of difficulty, taking about 3-4 hours to complete. The hike begins in a scenic forested area and gradually ascends along a rocky path through ancient woodlands filled with moss-covered trees, ferns, and wildflowers. The air is fresh, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the sounds of the forest make the hike even more enjoyable.

As you reach the Khvamli Plateau, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Imereti and Lechkhumi regions and the Greater Caucasus in the distance. When the clouds roll in, they settle deep into the valley below, creating the incredible feeling of standing above the clouds. It is one of the most magical moments of the hike.

Here lies a small stone church, simple yet full of history, standing near the edge of a dramatic cliff. The church is still visited by pilgrims and is considered a sacred place where nature and spirituality come together.
